I’m part of a Mood Board Collective, where multiple interiors bloggers take the same inspiration image and use it to create a mood board. This month, I picked the inspo, and chose a navy, coral and gold colour scheme that has spawned some gorgeous room designs.
Emmerson & Fifteenth | Dining Room Mood Board
I seriously love what everyone came up with month. For mine, I pulled together a coral and navy mood board with mustard accents. The scheme is eclectic (standard for me), blending rustic pieces with a bit of glam and some global flair. I stuck with renter-friendly white walls, but I think a warm greige would be really pretty too.
I spotted the Asian cabinet in person while I was looking around a gorgeous antique store here in Chicago, but it’s just a weeny bit over my budget at $24,000!
Here’s the gorgeousness that everyone else came up with and what they had to say about their designs…
Cleverly Inspired | Office Mood Board
I love this color palette… soft but yet dynamic too. It made me think up an office mood board in coral and navy, ready to spark lots of creativity. I think my favorite part is the lights…. so fun! They look like bubbles hanging in the air.~ Tracie Stoll
Carissa Miss | Bathroom Mood Board
I had so much fun with this month’s collaboration because it went perfectly with the idea I had in my head for a space in my house. I’ve been thinking about the hall bathroom and how to make the most of the very small space. It’s going to be the shared bathroom between the two kids so I wanted to reflect both genders as well as have a more grown up feel. When Lizzie picked this inspiration palette, I knew it was meant to be!~ Carissa Rasmussen
Designer In Teal | Dining Room Mood Board
I immediately fell in love with this month’s color inspiration. The first word that popped into my head was Nautical. I wanted to use it in a dining room application, so I had to give it some sophistication. Navy is one of my favorite hues and I love the contrast of the coral and gold against it.~ Samantha
The House of Grey | Living Room Mood Board
I love these colors together. I had fun coming up with a more girly living room than I would normally use in my own home, but now I’m kind of obsessed with that rug.~ Sarah
