It’s been a busy couple of weeks, in a good way. We had friends up during the kids’ half term, family the following week, a couples trip to Amsterdam (we stayed in the cutest place – more on that soon), and I managed to share a full house tour in the middle of it all. I’ve also been featured around the web a couple of times by some lovely people, and spotted some lovely things that I can’t keep to myself. So this is a round-up of all of that.
Girl About Townhouse: About My House
Caroline from Girl About Townhouse was lovely enough to have me over there chatting about our house. Her blog is full of great DIY ideas, yummy recipes and interior inspiration. Go check out the post here.
LiteCraft Blogger of the Month
I also have to say thank you to LiteCraft, who I worked with back on this post, and who just recently named me their Blogger of the Month. They did a mini interview with me about our plans for the summer and our next home projects on their blog – here’s that post.
I am so enjoying seeing Daniel’s charming old home come together at Manhattan Nest. And I love the floating cabinet he built from reclaimed lath.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who fell for Emily‘s Pittsburgh home when it was featured on Design*Sponge, right? And they have a Corgi! Their pink bathroom is dreamy, and so is the rest of their house – lots of lovely layered textiles and mid-century furniture.
Swoon Editions has been killing it lately. Here are a few of my favourite pieces from their site…
- Marcia Chair
- Karlsson Sideboard (also love this chest of drawers, which is similar in style)
- Columbus Chest of Drawers
- Stepney Steel Chest of Drawers
- Vincent Sofa
This is my new favourite dress (from Hush). And apparently everyone else’s too, since it’s almost sold out. The sleeveless version is better stocked, as is this similar one. These trousers are another favourite…
I went a little crazy at Hush a couple of months ago and got my summer capsule wardrobe nailed down. I might even get around to blogging about it soon!
