Design Inspo | Fawakay Villas

I have to share a few pics of where we stayed recently in Morocco, because it was gorgeous. I also posted about the souk here. Fawakay Villas is a little compound located about half an hour from central Marrakech. They have three beautiful Moroccan guest villas, and we stayed in the smallest one. Our villa’s bedroom was lovely and bright – neutral but with lots of texture, like the gorgeous Moroccan wedding blanket on the bed. River rock covered the floors…

Design Inspo | Marrakech Souk

Marrakech’s souk is a crazy place. Hundreds of little stalls and shops, and a few larger ones, packed into tiny streets, filled with thousands of beautiful things. Design Inspo | One Room Challenge Room Makeovers

There were so many amazing room makeovers that came out of the Spring 2016 One Room Challenge. I have been swooning over this eclectic entryway design by Yana Pauca, blogger at Nomad Luxuries, ever since I spotted it on Pinterest. I love the mix of vintage and modern pieces, and I’ve put together a mood board to recreate the look. The Inspiration Get the Look Pauca writes a fab travel/lifestyle blog, and her stunning entryway was sourced as eclectically as you’d expect. But it’s not difficult to recreate a similar look using pieces from online and high street…

Design Inspo | English Cottage Home Tour

My parents just put their lovely little English cottage on the market, and it’s rather gorgeous. It’s an 18th century house very close to Salisbury city center and the cathedral. It’s a four bedroom cottage; about 1400 square feet spread over three floors. I imagine it started as a smaller house – just the front half – and has been extended out the back to add what is now the kitchen and master bedroom. The loft has been converted to…
