Do Capsule Wardrobes Actually Work?

Do Capsule Wardrobes Actually Work?

I hopped on the capsule wardrobe trend two years ago. It took me a few seasons to curate my clothing collection to the point where it might be considered a proper capsule wardrobe, and you can check it out further down. But now that I’ve got it almost nailed down, I thought I’d talk about how successful it’s been. What is a Capsule Wardrobe? On the off-chance that you missed that whole thing and want to know what a capsule wardrobe is, it starts with pairing down your wardrobe as… View Post

One Room Challenge Week 5: A Space-Saving Homework Station & Pegboard Toy Storage

Well sheeeit. One more week till the One Room Challenge reveal! Here’s what I’ve been up to so far… Week One (Design & Floor Plan) // Week Two (Wall Decals & Shelves) // Week Three (DIY Upholstered Beds) // Week Four (Fixing & Organizing) This week I finished tackling one of the biggest projects in the kids’ room. The living room definitely had it’s challenges: it’s long (ish)… View Post

Organizing A Small Kitchen

Organizing A Small Kitchen

Not necessarily what I would have chosen, but very nice, with lovely granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a great gas hob. What wasn’t so great was the actual space. Of the four different apartments/condos we’ve lived in over the last eight years, this one definitely has the smallest kitchen. Actually, each kitchen we’ve lived with has been smaller than the last. It became a problem in our last loft, because we’d amassed so much stuff… View Post
