Alder Road Project | Master En-Suite Design & Renovation, Mortlake

This pink and black en-suite master bathroom is one of two existing bathrooms that we renovated in the Alder Road Project. The project was a full property transformation, where we extended into the side return of a ground floor Victorian flat to create a larger living area, as well as an extra bedroom and half bath. Alder Road Project | Victorian Terrace Hallway Renovation, Mortlake

Alder Road Project | Victorian Terrace Hallway Renovation, Mortlake

This Victorian terrace hallway renovation was part of a larger extension project on a ground floor maisonette in Mortlake, London. The entry hall is your welcome home, and the transition between your home and sanctuary, and the daily grind outside. The key to designing a hallway that does that well is to maximise function – in this case, with built in storage and as much space to accommodate foot traffic as possible. Black Living Room Styling, East Sheen

Black Living Room Styling, East Sheen

It’s always exciting to work with clients who aren’t afraid to go bold with their interior design choices, so I was thrilled to put together a styling scheme for a living room where the client had already pulled the trigger and chosen stunning black walls. Black Living Room Before The living room room was a blank canvas with great bones and lots of potential. The clients had a neutral sofa and a leather Eames chair that they already owned, but…

Monochrome Bathroom Design, East Sheen

I’ve been consulting on the interior design of a large residential renovation project for a lovely family in East Sheen for the last couple of years. Before the project began, they had a small, out of date extension holding a kitchen and dining area that didn’t suit the scale of the rest of the house. They replaced it with a much bigger one, which now holds a spacious kitchen and dining room, with a cosy living area, as well as…

Camo Kids Bedroom Design, Bramley

I recently worked on a fun camo kids bedroom for some lovely clients based in Surrey. Having traded their smaller London home for more space in the country, they wanted to make their 7 year old son’s bedroom special, especially since it’s the first time he hasn’t had to share a room with his twin sister. The design was fully driven by the little man himself, and he loves camo. Before Here’s where the room started. They’d just moved in,…

ORC Week 1-2 | Mood Board | Modern Boho Bedroom

It’s One Room Challenge time again. The ORC is a biannual event where a whole bunch of interior “influencers” transform a room over six weeks – a bedroom in my case. We post progress deets every week. It’s about community, not competition, which I love, and it’s a melting pot of gorgeous design ideas and DIY inspiration. I’m working on a modern boho bedroom in my new flat. Modern Boho Bedroom Plans Painting – Alive Neave // Similar Pendant Shade…

ORC Week 1 | Mood Board | Eclectic Living Room

It’s time for another One Room Challenge makeover. This time around, I’m redesigning the living room in our Edwardian home in Southwest London. If you’re not familiar, the ORC is a biannual event where interior “influencers” each transform a room over (usually) six weeks, posting progress deets every week. This time round, we get an extra couple of weeks, because of the Corona situation. So much amazing interior design inspiration comes out of this event, and I’ve loved swooning over…

My Go-To Source for Affordable Custom Blinds | Mood Board | Boy’s Room

I gave my son’s room a mini update not long ago. I added a mid-century dresser, moved his keyboard in, and switched the furniture around, but it still wasn’t completely finished. Today, I’m sharing my go-to source for affordable custom blinds, and talking about the impact the right window treatments can have in interior design. There were a few niggly issues in this room that needed addressing. The rug was too small, the bedside cabinet had seen better days, and the curtains…
