Emmerson & Fifteenth started in 2010, when my little family and I moved into a condo on West Fifteenth in Chicago that had been converted from a meat packing factory. With floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed duct work, brick walls and concrete ceilings, it was an inspirational place to live. It really made me think about my environment, and what an effect my surroundings have on me. That loft sparked my love of interior design, and I haven’t really shut up about it since.
Five homes later (we’ve been a bit all over the place), we’re now settled in a little rented terrace in South-West London. And, again, I’m working to make the most of the space we have, documenting it here along the way.
Through the blog, I started working on e-Design – helping other people make the most of their spaces in a really affordable way. Do get in touch if you’d like more info on that. Otherwise, grab a cuppa, sit back and have a read. I’m so glad you’re here!
