Emmerson & Fifteenth began in 2010 as an interior design blog, when my little family and I moved into a condo on West Fifteenth Street in Chicago. The building was a converted meat-packing factory near Pilsen, and all the units had floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed duct work, brick walls and concrete ceilings. It was stunning, and I’d never lived anywhere like it. It really made me think about the effect that your environment can have on mental wellbeing. That loft sparked my love of interior design, and I haven’t really shut up about it since.
Five rented homes, a big move across the pond, and an Interior Design diploma later, and Emmerson & Fifteenth turned from a blog about my love of interiors into a London-based interior design business, working with clients across the UK.
I now offer full service interior design or, if you’re on a budget and happy to do some of the grafting yourself, I also offer affordable e-Design services.
Give me a shout if you want to start chatting about how to transform your home or small business. Or, if you’re just browsing, grab a cuppa and go have a read of the blog archives. I’m so glad you’re here!
