Vicki contacted me asking for help with the kitchen in her rental apartment. She had a few key requests for the space: 1. Storage. 2. A distraction from the floor, back splash and dark wood cabinets. 3. A dining space. The kitchen came with mustard appliances, which I used as a jumping off point. Check out my new crib. {Oeuf Sparrow Crib in grey} Initially we were just going to use S’s crib for the baby, but we’ve been finding out all kinds of horrible things about engineered wood and off-gassing and the long-term health effects it can have on babies, so we decided that it wasn’t worth the risk and have forked out some big ones for this solid birch, not-made-in-China beauty.  I just wish we’d known about it when S was born! I’ve been really enjoying other blogger’s year-end round-ups, so I’m joining in! I only started blogging in April, so this is really a best of the last eight months – hopefully I’ll have more to share next year.
