Our Floor Plan

Here’s the floor plan of our current loft, so you can see what I’ve been working with this past year…

Our first loft (more on that here) was about 1250 square feet, and this one is a little bigger at 1470. The layout flows much better than our old one did, and we have two proper bedrooms with windows (only our master had windows before).

This is how we have it set up (although I may have taken a little liberty in prettifying the balcony and replaced the kids’ water table with pretty flowers)…

It’s a nice size for our little family at the moment, it has plenty of storage (two walk-in closets!!), I really love how light and bright it is – two full walls of windows in the living room – and I still love the industrial architecture.

Hi! I stumbled across your blog looking for Ikea Pine Bed hacks and I found your post on your bed. I love what you did! I know that I am commenting on a different post but I was curious on what software you used to create your floorplans. It looks great! I am in the process of re-organizing my condo. Thanks again!

    Hi Amber,
Thanks for stopping by! I use floorplanner.com – there are a few free options out there, but I found that one easiest (and prettiest). 🙂
